Anna accomplished numerous milestones at Motorola Asia Pacific as the Regional Corporate Communications Manager for the Asia Pacific region:
- Setting up the first-ever award-winning Motorola Asia Pacific region website
- Establishing the first toll-booth advertising campaign in Thailand
- Producing award-winning regional corporate communications materials (FACTS and Guide)
- Supporting regional sponsorships across the region (Asian Football Confederation)
- Placing corporate and regional publications on-line
Corporate Communications
She worked on every aspect of corporate communications - corporate image, marketing communications, and issues management. She traveled to many of the countries in the region to work on global and regional initiatives and organised press conferences in Cambodia, Malaysia, India and Hong Kong, along with liaising with the corporate headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois (USA) and the regional headquarters of Motorola in Singapore and China
Internet Marketing Communications
Anna set up the first-ever and most successful international on-line advertising campaign for Motorola through awsj.com, dowjones.com, feer.com and yahoo.com. Since it was the height of the internet age, Motorola purchased 1.2 million impressions but received an additional 4 million impressions over 6 months on a complimentary basis from the various publications. The Site received at its launch 165,000 impressions in November 1999 due to various interactive promotions.
The Internet site was a finalist for the Asia Pacific region in the IABC Gold Quill Competition in 2000.
Employee Communications
Among her responsibilities, Anna was also the Employee Communications Manager while she was handling the role of corporate communications for the region.
She spearheaded a region-wide launch of the "WINGS' advertising campaign working with Human Resource managers, Motorola University managers and training managers across the region to launch "Wings" internally to the 40,000 staff while an advertising agency launched "WINGS" externally to the public across Asia.
Media Relations - Press Conferences
She organised press conferences for Motorola in Phnom Penh, Cambodia (Motorola donated funds to The Halo Trust - a demining NGO) and in Hong Kong for the launch of the "Wings" global advertising campaign.

Anna was the first Marketing Communications Manager for Motorola University in 21 years. Motorola University is the training arm of Motorola and is utilised by its employees.
- She organised two press conferences for Motorola University – one in Hyderabad, India and another in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at Malaysia Multimedia University – both were signing ceremonies for Motorola.
In Hyderabad, India, the signing ceremony was timed to coincide with the visit of US President Bill Clinton in India.

- She launched an award-winning E-Learning program for the Asia Pacific region targeted at Motorola employees in the region.
The E-Learning campaign included marketing materials, a regional roadshow, and an intranet site which had an award-winning video which were interviews of the CEO and senior managers in the region, an on-line contest and success stories of Motorola University. On the E-Learning website, employees had the ability to enroll in 2,000 Motorola University courses.
