The event – "The Power to Make a Difference – Organisations and Women Helping Hong Kong's Environment"  featured women fighting against air pollution, for clean water and how we as Hongkongers can reduce our carbon footprint.

The speakers were Christine Loh, co-founder and CEO of Civic Exchange; Mei Ng, Friends of the Earth (HK) Board Member and China Program Chair (Dongjiang River Partners Project) and Inez Ho, Chief of Campaign, Climate Change, World Wide Fund for Nature (HK) and the moderator, Tesa Arcilla, evening anchor, TVB Pearl.

Behind the scenes, Anna Fang and her University intern, organised the fund-raising, publicity, promotion, liaising with the speakers and obtaining and collecting the prize donations for the Silent Auction, Dutch Auction and Lucky Draw.

Result: On the evening, nearly US$3,000 was raised for the HKABPW Bursary Fund.
